Buscareto Ammazzaconte Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi 2017

Availability: In stock (3)

The Ammazzaconte Verdicchio from Buscareto from the Italian wine-growing region DOC Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in Marche is a complex, pure grape variety and harmonious white wine.

In the glass this wine shines in a bright golden yellow with glittering reflections. The complex aroma pampers the nose from the very beginning. The expressive bouquet reveals aromas of ripe yellow fruits - above all apricot and mirabelle - floral notes of yellow flowers and nuances of star anise. On the palate this Italian white wine convinces with a firm body, which is covered by a slightly creamy texture. The fine salty minerality is perfectly integrated and accompanies the pleasantly long finish.

Vinification of the Buscareto Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Ammazzaconte
The Verdicchio grapes come from the Ripalta vineyard of Arcevia in the Italian Marche.

As soon as the grapes arrive in the Buscareto cellar, the grapes are gently pressed in their entirety and the resulting must is transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for fermentation. A small part is fermented and matured for 6 months in French oak tonneaux. This white wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 12 to 15 months. In order to round off this white wine harmoniously, it remains on the bottle for 4 to 3 months before the Buscareto Ammazzaconte leaves the winery.
