Meaning “dawn song” in Spanish, Cantoalba’s namesake has a deep connection to the La Ronciere estate; since their founding in 1949, a rooster has ushered in each morning, signaling another opportunity to produce high-quality wines. Cantoalba is a special selection by the winemaker to highlight the personality La Ronciere’s wines bring to the world.
Hand-harvested from select plots in the Santa Elena estate. Vines are grown on granitic soils in the foothills of the Andes
Fermentation occurs in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Aging occurs in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel tank for six months.
Bright red color with violet tints are met with aromas of cherries, raspberries, coconut, and green grass. Cantoalba Pinot Noir has a fresh mouthfeel that mingles juicy tannins and notes of blueberries, cinnamon, and anise.
