Junkyard Jones
A Cville Treasure…Come see for youself
Born in Galax, Virginia, the site of the world-famous Galax Fiddler's Convention, Junkyard was introduced to bluegrass and piedmont blues at a young age by his family. As he grew older, his musical interests expanded to include jazz, ragtime, gypsy swing, and Delta blues, among others. Jason's unique musical style is influenced by many great musicians, including Tony Rice, Jerry Garcia, D'jango Reinhardt, Robert Johnson, and Leo Kottke, and his CDs Patchwork and Dry County Courier powerfully demonstrate his mastery of these diverse genres.
Junkyard Jones has become a fixture on the entertainment scene in central and southwestern Virginia, and his contributions to American roots music have been recognized with numerous awards and honors. In 2016, he won first place in both the banjo and guitar competitions at the Virginia Bluegrass Music State Championships, and his previous album, Patchwork, was included as part of the 'Fresh Sounds in the World of Bluegrass' by the International Bluegrass Music Association.
Dry County Courier, Junkyard’s latest release, is a testament to his commitment to preserving and revitalizing the roots of American music. Recorded entirely in first takes, this album captures the warmth and energy of Junkyard’s live performances and features a range of instruments and musical styles. In addition to his instrumental prowess, Junkyard is also a talented songwriter, with original compositions that fit seamlessly alongside traditional pieces. The Little Birdies – We specialize in Appalachian style duets including bluegrass, folk, and traditional country tunes. Susan Munson makes her return to Bottle House with her infectious vibe and excellent songs. We just love watching her perform her originals showcasing her deep love for the song…and the songwriting process. Gary Green on harp just elevates all these tunes and really adds the texture they deserve .

Jason Pollock was the lead guitarist and founding member of multi-platinum rock band, Seven Mary Three, writing such hit songs as "Cumbersome" (#1), "Water's Edge" (#7) and "Rock Crown" (#7). With his new group, The Pollocks, Jason shares the creative process with fellow songwriter Thomas Gunn (guitar, vocals), Nathan West (drums), Randy Mendicino (bass), and Maryline Meyer (vocals, percussion).

John Kelly
John Kelly is a Charlottesville-based singer songwriter with more than two decades of solo acoustic performing experience. He began his music career in his native Connecticut and played regularly there and in New York City before moving to Charlottesville, Virginia. Now a regular on the Central Virginia singer songwriter circuit, John has become known for his soulful voice and insightful original songs.
Happy to have John Kelly back for another acoustic early evening.

Mike Miz from Nashville TN is BACK
So happy to have our friend Mike Miz coming back for another great of music.
This is a must see show for any and all music fans…you are in for a real treat
Over the years, Mike has shared the stage with a wide range of artists, opening for Jason Isbell, Derek Trucks, Jakob Dylan, Lukas Nelson, Shawn Colvin, Chris Isaak, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Blues Traveler, America, Southside Johnny, Peter Wolf, Paul Cauthen, and many more. These opportunities have helped shape his sound and strengthen his roots as both a performer and a songwriter.
After relocating to Nashville in 2019 to deepen his focus on songwriting, Mike quickly earned the respect of the city’s music community. His playing, writing, and work ethic led to collaborations with artists such as Andrew Farriss (INXS), Billy Ray Cyrus, Paul McDonald, Tania Elizabeth (The Avett Brothers), and a new project with Grammy-winner Forrest O’Connor. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and recorded in some of Nashville’s most revered studios, including Blackbird and Zac Brown’s Southern Ground.
